What "authorized" really means — and what we are
A factory-authorized service center has a formal agreement with the manufacturer. An independent specialist like us does not — but independence is not the same as inexperience or off-brand parts. We chose to be transparent: we are independent, we install genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts, and we follow manufacturer-recommended procedures and factory-spec diagnostics. We do not invent authorization, certification numbers or affiliation we do not have.
| Question | Factory-authorized | Us (independent) |
|---|---|---|
| Formal manufacturer agreement | Yes | No — independent |
| Genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts | Yes | Yes |
| Factory-spec procedures | Yes | Yes |
| Handles in-warranty claims | Yes | Use factory channel |
| Labor warranty | Varies | 365 days |
| Booking speed | Varies | Same / next day |
If your Sub-Zero is still under manufacturer warranty, ask us first — covered repairs often belong in the factory channel.

When the factory channel is the better call
We will tell you honestly when authorized service is the smarter route. If your Sub-Zero is still inside its manufacturer warranty window, a covered repair is usually best handled through the factory channel so you do not pay out of pocket for something the warranty covers. For out-of-warranty built-ins — which is most of what we see in Sunnyvale — independent OEM repair is typically faster and more cost-effective.
