What changes by series — and what stays the same
- Classic built-ins — robust over-and-under and side-by-side units; common calls are gaskets, fans, defrost and controls.
- Designer columns & drawers — flush, integrated installs that need cabinet-safe handling; sensors, controls and airflow lead the list.
- PRO — dual refrigeration and a large condenser; cooling-performance and ice/water faults are most common.
- Wine columns — dual-zone temperature and humidity control; thermoelectric or compressor cooling depending on model.
- Under-counter — compact refrigeration in tight cutouts; airflow, drainage and condenser access matter most.
Whatever the series, the constants are the same: genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts, factory-spec diagnostics, cabinet-safe service and a 365-day labor warranty. For the full service list see Sub-Zero appliance repair.
